Dear friends of Focus on the Family Canada,

May I be so bold as to ask you for prayer? The Lord has put a lot on my heart, and I would love for you to join me in prayer.

First, if we could pray for our nation to be united, especially in these increasingly divided times. Emotions are strong on all sides of many issues. Over two years into the pandemic, this is certainly understandable. There are many who are tired, weary and angry.

I pray that we can seek justice, love mercy and walk humbly before our God. I pray that we will see those across the aisle as God sees them: fearfully and wonderfully made, and loved by their heavenly father.

As well, I ask you to pray for our government – municipal, provincial and federal. Regardless of party or platform, as followers of Christ, let’s join and pray for wisdom, humility and guidance for our leaders as they serve in their elected positions.

In addition, will you join me in praying for marriages in Canada? Marriage is not always easy; through our Hope Restored intensive marriage therapy program and our Marriage Enrichment retreats, Focus on the Family Canada is here for all of the ups and downs that couples face.

Finally, please pray for all of us here at Focus on the Family Canada – that we would seek the Lord in all we do and that we continue to find new and innovative ways to support marriages and families. We are here for you, we pray for you daily and we would treasure your prayers as well.

Blessings,
