On November 30 and December 1, our friends at Trinity Western University (TWU) will be bringing their arguments before the Supreme Court of Canada to defend their right to be a faith-based, accredited law school in Canada.

With three provincial law societies refusing to recognize potential graduates from TWU, and now the Law Society of Upper Canada saying TWU must be rejected due to its “distinctly Christian” environment, TWU has appealed to the Supreme Court of Canada to defend its rights.

While this hearing will determine whether or not law societies in Canada can refuse to recognize graduates from TWU based on its beliefs, at the core of this case is the issue of whether people of faith have protection to hold their beliefs, without discrimination, in the marketplace. I believe we are at a crucial moment in Canada and our religious freedom is at stake.

On Sunday, November 26, would you join with our brothers and sisters across Canada in a national day of prayer for religious freedom in Canada.

Please join us as we unite together in prayer for religious freedom in Canada. Pray specifically for the hearings on November 30 and December 1, and continue to pray over the next weeks and months for a decision that protects the religious freedom of Canadians.
