I personally know the joys and challenges that come with building a family. Each member is an individual with their own emotional needs and preferred methods of communication. As a child of divorced and remarried parents, I also know the unique road of blending two families together as one.

When a marriage blends families from previous marriages, this can present its own set of challenges – which makes it all the more critical to understand the factors that make stepfamilies distinct. It can make the difference between a blended family that’s floundering and one built on a solid foundation of love and trust.

That’s why I’m pleased to share a new video series that focuses on these factors. I hope these videos are encouraging to you, and God uses them to speak to your heart.

Thriving Stepfamilies: Overcoming Common Challenges in Blended Families features Smart Stepfamilies founder Ron Deal. This free series of seven short videos includes practical tips informed by Ron’s years of ministering to blended families. For just a small investment of time (each video is about six to eight minutes long), these insights can help you and your loved ones experience increased harmony in your household and reach new levels of understanding that will help your family thrive.
