A Focus Series

Abuse

Helping you find refuge and empowering you to experience freedom from abuse
Inside this Series

Too often, abuse continues because the victim does not feel empowered enough to use their voice. At Focus on the Family Canada, our desire is to follow God’s example of giving a voice to the voiceless by being a safe place for people to call, share their story and get help.

Through the following articles, broadcasts and video series that speak into the different areas of abuse, we give permission for people to break through the shame and speak up. We also equip others to spot the warning signs of an abusive relationship and step in as a safe person for someone who may need help.

If you or someone you know is in an abusive relationship, we encourage you to contact our care and counselling team at 1.800.661.9800. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. PT.
