Guiding kids through the transition to adulthood

Young adults are navigating a challenging life stage – a phase when they’re suddenly confronted with the many demands associated with life as an adult. They need to build required skills, then land a job that will help launch their career. Going on in the background, they may be riding a rollercoaster of emotional highs and lows as they search for that special someone to share life with. On the financial front, they’re just beginning to understand the true cost of living independently, and many find their dream of moving out of “mom and dad’s place” suddenly doesn’t look feasible any time soon.

If there’s tension in your relationship with your young adult son or daughter, there are plenty of reasons why that may be – but it doesn’t have to stay that way. Below you'll find help with many different aspects of your relationship with your adult child.
