Infant on the loose: Tips on childproofing your home

Our toddler is highly energetic, extremely curious and unbelievably mobile. I’m wearing myself out just chasing her from room to room, trying to keep her from hurting herself. Can you give me some basic tips and pointers for “child-proofing” my house?

Should baby sleep in your bed?

A friend of mine believes that it’s beneficial for mom, dad and baby to sleep together. She even claims that it can prevent sudden infant death syndrome and provide other health benefits. What’s your opinion of the “family bed?”
