Stephen Johnson - Ontario
Stephen Johnson, an ordained pastor, had just begun his 10th year in ministry when he felt called to join Focus on the Family Canada in 2007. His prior career as a consultant in the dental industry – along with his years spent in sales, marketing and management – has equipped Stephen to assess problems and find creative solutions.
He married his wife, Bev, in 1981. “It was the best thing I ever did, next to coming to know the Lord!” he says. Stephen and Bev have four children: Michael (’86), Emma (’88), Grace (’93) and James (’94).
Stephen has a profound love for the Word of God and uses it as the foundation for life’s decisions. His love of preaching, along with his passionate delivery, fulfills a need in churches as he brings challenging messages on marriage, parenting, personal faith and the care of pastors. He says, “We are so happy to minister in the areas of family, marriage and parenting. We have a special love for pastors, and we know the unique challenges in the life of a pastor.”
