Q&A
Hi! My name is Jennifer and I'm a counsellor who is learning about the world of PKs! Email me your questions, and if I don't know the answer, I'll ask some PKs I know to help me with an answer.

Question:
My dad shared a story about me in his sermon this week. I was so embarrassed. And I’m mad, too. What can I do?

Answer:
It’s no fun to have personal stories about you shared with everyone in the church – including your friends. My guess is that your dad didn’t mean to embarrass you or make you feel bad. However, your feelings are very important! You need to share with your dad how you feel. Then ask him if he will either stop sharing stories about you OR if he will ask for your permission first. I’m sure your dad loves you a lot and wants to know what you’re thinking and feeling.
