WHAT IS A PK?

A PK is a child who has a pastor as a parent. They are known as PKs - "Pastors' Kids." A PK has to deal with all the challenges and benefits that come from living in a pastoral family. Even as adults, most PKs will tell you that having a pastor as a parent significantly impacted their life.

QUESTION OF THE MONTH
Have you ever moved because your dad/mom got a job pastoring a new church? We'll post your responses here.

Hi, my name is Jennifer and I’m a counsellor at Focus on the Family Canada. If you have any questions or concerns you want to talk about, or if you’d just like someone to pray with you, please email me at [email protected] or call me at 1-888-525-3749. It’s a free call and you can remain anonymous if you choose. I promise to listen and do my best to support you. If I don’t know the answer to a question, I’ll ask some adult PKs I know to help me with an answer. Thanks for dropping by our website!

Share your PK stories! We'd love to hear from you! Please email us for more info. We offer a small gift for all articles used on our website.
